Before jumping right into a home business, think about how much available space you have in your home that can be dedicated to the business. Many home businesses can get by with very little in the way of floor space.  If you do not expect a lot of foot traffic, essentially performing your work on the Internet, then you probably do not need a lot of floor space to provide a good working environment.

Room To Move

On the other hand, you do not want your home office space to be so cluttered with your business equipment and supplies that there is not enough room to move. Working in a confined area can be very frustrating. Many people really like to spread out while they work and others are happy with just enough space to hold what they need, but whichever personality you have, the space needs to be neat, clean and organized.

You do not always have to settle for the smallest room in the house if you are planning to isolate your office from the rest of the house, nor should you chase everyone out of the family room so you can have a bigger desk and way more file cabinets than you will ever use. Get out your pencil, paper and measuring tape and make a drawing of what your ideal home office space should look like and then adjust it to fit into the available area of the house. It is never a good idea to use the kitchen table as your home office desk, but if you have to use the kitchen, find another table that fits so you don’t end up with food stains on your work.

What Do I Need?

As a general rule you will need a desk, typically about four-feet long along with a chair in order to work comfortably in your new home office. A single filing cabinet for your record keeping may also have a top large enough to hold your computer’s printer, fax machine or other type of office equipment, requiring no additional floor space. You will also need a trashcan and a shredder.  Having said all of that, I have decided I like working on a little smaller desk when I am working on my home business.  I offer free shopping memberships to people in every country so they can save money and making money in the process.  I have one folder for my records because the vast majority of everything I need remains on my computer for easy  access.

Depending on your type of  home business, you may have a need for a larger table on which to layout larger projects. However, unless it will be used on a daily basis, you can find other accommodations when it is needed. Using the kitchen table once in a while is not forbidden, provided you clean it up before dinnertime.

Realistically, an eight-foot square room may be all you need, but after a few days it may feel more like serving a sentence than going to work. You will want it to be open and airy, but put any windows to the side or behind your chair to minimize distractions. You should never use additional office space for storage. Once boxes of junk are put in place, they are going to be there for the long haul.

Think carefully about how you work and how you want your home business office to work for you before setting it in stone.

Website owners have found that they can increase their profits by eight times or more simply by using web based email marketing. It’s important to understand the typical buying cycle, the importance of follow up and how a back end increases your bottom line in order to understand how email marketing can affect your business.

Understand the Buying Cycle

The majority of  people  simply will not buy the first time they see your website. About 99% of your visitors will land on your website and leave without buying anything.

That doesn’t mean they weren’t interested in your product. It just means they weren’t interested right now. Or perhaps they just don’t trust you or know you enough yet.

Letting these people go is like letting 99% of your advertising dollars go to waste. Instead, to really maximize your profits you must learn to follow up and get sales from the remaining 99% who didn’t buy the first time around.

Follow Up for Major Sales Increase

But you still can turn 1% visitor into buyer by following up which is as much as 8% in the long run. That’s an 800% increase in revenue!

However, if you follow up then over time they’ll start to see that you’re a real business that will take care of their customers. They’ll begin to know and trust you.

You’ll also get your message in front of them at different points in their life, and you have a relatiionship with them when they are ready to buy.

Back End Is Importance to Your Bottom Line

Your real money is in your backend because these are the products and services they will see after a customer made their first order. Most business owners neglect this and focus only at front end sales.

Let’s say each month you make 30 sales at $100 for a total of $3,000. Most business owners would focus on getting those 30 sales to 40 sales.

Instead, a savvy business person would try and sell a $400 product to all 30 of those who bought. If about 20% take them up on it, that’s a $2,400 bump right off the bat .

Then a savvy business owner might try and sell a $1,000 product. With the right marketing, about 10% will buy. That’s an extra $3,000.

Finally, a savvy business person will likely try and implement some kind of membership program. At $97 a month , if it’s tied into the original product about 50% will sign up for about 4 months. That’s (15 times $97 times 4 equals) and extra $5,820 a month.

That’s an extra $11,220 on top of the $3,000 you’re already making from just 30 sales a month. As you can tell, selling more to your existing customers is much more profitable than trying to get more new customers.

The best way to sell more to existing customers is through web based email marketing. It’s the only free way to consistently follow up.

You now know the how the typical buying cycle works, you understand the importance of follow up and you know how much a good back end can boost your business. Apply this and web based email marketing to help your business explode its profits.

What is the most successful online attraction marketing method you can use to succeed with your Internet network marketing business?

Some people  would have said the smooth sales pitch or the loud sales blurb. Well, that’s okay for some but in this business they don’t come anywhere near the simple and proven system of teaching. Teaching has been the one method used since we first walked the planet that has been able to move people.
Internet Attraction Marketing

So why is teaching so powerful? In the Internet attraction marketing model, you need to earn the right to be able to tell a prospect about what you have to offer. You do that by teaching them what you know and creating trust with them.

So how can you teach? One of the most powerful ways is with attraction marketing articles. Articles are the lifeblood of the internet and are the perfect vehicle to teach prospects and provide the solutions they are looking for. They have been written to create a relationship with the people reading them and to build trust.

And the best way to build trust with someone is to teach them what you know. Have you looked at most of the successful people online? What’s the one thing they are doing that those failing aren’t?

Teaching!

It could be they are teaching others how to make money, how to be healthy, how to grow vegetables, how to find a date…just about anything you can think of. At the center of just about any successful promotional material whether it’s to sell a product or generate a lead is usually an educational or an instruction of some sort that is offered to people as an exchange. This could be either for their information or their money.

Teach First, Sell Later…

In my opinion, getting their information first up is probably a better course of action that just getting their money once and then never seeing them again.

But the message here especially if you’re serious about succeeding with your attraction marketing or branding yourself as an authority within your niche, is to teach first and sell second. When you teach right there is almost no need to dust off the sales pitch and use it.

Those that have recognized this and applied it in general have become successful. So why aren’t more people using it. Well, it’s one of the drawbacks of  Internet attraction marketing if there are any. That’s that it simply takes time to develop trust with a prospect.

Most people don’t have that much patience, so they bounce around from one opportunity to the next hoping for the get rich quick fix. It never happens.

If you have your own business, whether it is a brick and mortar business or fully online, you should be aware of the benefits online marketing to you.

The Task Of Selling

To most small businesses, any sort of selling could be a difficult task, even online marketing. Honestly, it does take a lot of work and endurance, sometimes even cash. You will find that with an understanding of how internet marketing works you can utilize it to build your business.

Internet Savvy

In a very short time, the internet has become the most used technique of communication by the public. It is also becoming their favorite place to make purchases. Many people prefer the hassle free experience that online shopping affords.  On the Internet they can find the best items at the lowest prices with no waiting in line. Online marketing offers your business a cost effective selling tool that may boost your product distribution  network.

Advertising Methods

Online marketing is much cheaper than normal advertising methods, and since there are fewer invoices or fliers needed, you are able to save storage space too. When it is compared to printing brochures, managing a call center, or purchasing radio and TV advertising, you can see why many people prefer online marketing.

With online marketing you will be ready to reach millions of potential customers each day. Consumers are constantly looking for products and services on the internet, so when you advertise to your niche market on the internet you will have people actively seeking your products or services.

With an online store, you have the advantage of being open each day of the year. Online marketing gives you the chance to reach a larger number of people and at a cheaper price compared to conventional methods of advertising.

Online marketing also utilizes email which is an instant form of communication. It makes it simple to contact buyers and take orders right away. Using the internet can give you a major benefit over your rivals.

Methods Of Internet Advertising

These include ezines, blogs, pay per click ads, e-mail campaigns, traffic sites and many others. Using a combination of  advertising methods, you will find that you’re able to increase awareness of your company, fortify relationships with current customers, and attract new customers .  It pays to add online marketing to your advertising menu!

brenda It’s true, there are network marketers considered to be in limbo. That is, they are between work from home businesses or have tried it before and are currently in a situation where they are looking for the right opportunity or may believe the right home-based business may not exist for them.

Can you see the power in going after a targeted niche who already knows why it will be good for them as opposed to a group who still don’t know why they need a network marketing opportunity?

That’s why old school networking methods such as the “three foot rule” are detrimental to building a networking business, and why it’s such a killer for a person’s confidence. It gets back to putting your offer in front of people who are ready to receive it.

Have you asked your prospects IF they are looking for a home-based business and what are they looking for IN a business? If you simply put it in front of anyone, then the chances are very strong the majority will reject it thus leaving you dejected.

Worse case scenario,  you will eventually become disheartened from the “not interested” responses and bail out of your own work from home business, thus giving up on an industry with a great future.

brenda1No doubt you have heard of relationship marketing?  Why are so many people utilizing the social networking sites to keep in touch with friends and build their businesses?

Social sites are an awesome way to reconnect with classmates and old friends you may have lost track of temporarily.  I recently became more active in Facebook because I found many of my high school classmates there.  That has been a blast!

How about quickly chatting with some of your peers in Twitter or Social Median? You may not know everyone as well as you do your former classmates, but it’s a great way to build relationships.

Relationship Marketing” is NOT just a popular new term.  Building relationships with people is what network marketing is all about.  People are fine with email and chatting on instant messenger once they get to know you, but the personal touch is still a very desirable to most people.

If you live across the country or even state from your team, pick up the phone once in a while and let them know you care about them as a person. Building relationships in social networking sites works, but only if you are genuine.

brenda1If you want to be successful in your Internet Marketing business, focus on developing good communication skills.  Good communications are one of the most important skills in  you will need master as a work from home business owner

Regular and consistent communication with both prospects and existing customers, is probably one of the lowest-effort, lowest-cost things that you can do to enhance relationships.

Building strong relationships with trust and honesty streamline everything else you do to both win – and keep – your customers. Know what adjustments your marketing message needs to match what prospects need. Keep your existing customers highly aware of the value offered by both you and your Internet Marketing business.

Communications with your team and your prospects serves to keep everyone in the loop and growing. Everyone will be more likely to listen to the positive messages on your team rather than the negative outside messages that are bound to be there.

Good communication skills are especially important when your business is Internet Marketing  because you may never have the opportunity to meet many of your team in person.

brenda1When talking to a prospect for your work from home business try to give out company links when possible so the prospect can review the material.

Once the material is reviewed, ask questions that will help them determine if the work from home business you have is for them.

Good Questions To Ask A Prospect:

1) What are you looking for in a home business?

2) How familiar are you with the computer?

3) How many hours per week do you have to devote to a home business?

4) How do you see yourself marketing your business?

Once you have qualified your prospects, sit back and let them tell you what will work best for them.

Be ready to help them get started!

The key to running a successful Internet marketing website is educating your readers and earning their trust as well as branding yourself as an expert in your field. What this does is makes your site a valuable resource, one which they can return to on a regular basis for information.
Will this have people jumping into your business at a rapid rate? Not initially and it’s here you need to draw a distinction between getting rich quick and building a sustainable business. Blasting your website with a barrage of sales pitches is not teaching your readers anything.
In actual fact, all it does is places you in that crowded realm of every other misguided marketer out there blasting the same sales message. No one is trading value for sign ups; and it’s giving value first which will separate you from the wan-na-bes’.
An Internet marketing website needs to be about branding yourself. The information you give should be training and informative rather than used car sales like and asking for the sale the first time your prospect visits your site is suicide. Sure, if you were pitching an affiliate product then it’s somewhat of a different story, but network marketing is about building relationships and you should never forget this.
Content For Your Internet Site

So what do you fill it with? In two words, educational content. In other words, you should be using your site to showcase your training ability and earning your visitors trust. Why? Because you want them coming back again and again.

Blast your site with sales message after sales message and your site will quickly be dismissed as just another offering get rich quick schemes. Combining the power of attraction and relationship marketing with the magic of pre-selling will get you more prospects than you can handle.
Don’t forget, the network marketing business is all about creating relationships. An Internet website is the ideal platform for you to be able to connect in a passive way with your prospects. By providing them with educational content - stuff they can use immediately will soon have you labeled as someone they see as important to helping them achieve their long term dreams.
Become A Coach
To take it a step further, a successful Internet marketing website not only provides visitors with valuable, usable content, but also gives them the option of subscribing to one’s list.
And this is when the magic really starts to happen. So how do you get a prospect to subscribe to your list? You offer them something of value. In other words, a Free report containing problem solving solutions or an interview performing the same function. I am offering you a FREE membership to my consumer club. Sure you’re giving it away free and they may still not join your business but reality dictates that by putting in place a strong pre-sell and follow up process and building on the value you’ve already given, will make you somewhat irresistible and eventually earn you the trust you’re chasing.
You’ll be pegged as an authority, someone who knows what they are talking about and more importantly, someone your prospect can see themselves doing business with in the future.

The message is clear…without an Internet marketing website in today’s network marketing environment, you are pushing the proverbial you know what uphill as you try to build a list of prospects for your business.
Why MLMers still resist the need for an attraction marketing website remains a mystery. Perhaps it’s hard letting go of old interruption marketing techniques, which cause more harm than good, as well as rejection literally forcing the majority out of their business within a short space of time.
Rejection is not handled well by most people despite the efforts of persistent uplines who teach their people that it just means you are one step closer to a sale. That may be true, but by the time the sale is due the unfortunate downline member has usually had enough and has made a bee line for the exit door.
There is a major difference between attraction and interruption marketing and if you own your own website, then you can say goodbye to the latter forever.
Why You Should Not Interrupt Suspects

The term interruption marketing describes the process of approaching prospects in a hit and miss fashion to get them to look at one’s offer. It’s particularly popular in the MLM marketing business and is one of the major reasons the industry has received a bad rap over the years.
As an example, old school network marketing methods teach approaching friends, family and anyone who is fair game to take a look at a business opportunity or to look at products. This is all well and good, but the problem with this technique is that most people who are approached are not in the market for an offer.

This leads to continuous rejection and for over 90 per cent of MLMers who start a business, it causes them to leave or abandon their business. It’s not a very professional technique especially when there are avenues to avoid this kind of approach.
Power Of Attracting Prospects

In a nutshell, attraction marketing means the prospect seeks out the person making the offer which in turn leads to less rejection and a much happier network marketer.

Today, the Internet is allowing MLMers the chance to create an Internet marketing website which they can then leverage from by providing educational and training resources to interested prospects and in turn, brand themselves as authority voices within their chosen niche.
An Internet marketing website can mean a static site, a blog or any number of Web 2 properties which work for people on a 24/7 basis. The key here is, instead of hoping someone will show interest in a business opportunity, because people go online looking for information, placed in front of the right crowd, the responding prospect will be much more receptive to listening to an offer.
In turn, this means less rejection and with the correct presell techniques to follow, more chance of someone joining your business.
