brenda1As I mentioned on the last post, every single site I’ve been on that has Internet marketing tools say THEY have the very best material for you in every way. They all say the same thing, so how do you as a new marketer determine what is right for you?

A rating of the material with regards to necessary prerequisite skills would be helpful. Think of the wide variety of Web Site builder programs for example. Some are very “plug and play”, but will allow a pre-determined amount of templates or you can create custom web sites with very advanced programs.

How about a sample of “what you get” so that you can determine if it will work for you.? Maybe they could put an excerpt of the Internet Marketing Tools available on-line for you to see how they write, the topics they will cover, the depth of the information?

You can type in “the author’s name“ or “name of material” and “forum”.  This may bring up some discussion of the material for sale.  Having said that, remember people are more likely to post a negative comment before a positive one.

You also need to read all comments for a fair description of the material.  Maybe the network marketing training was too technical for Jack S., but great for the advanced user. Possibly the material was written only for beginners and that’s why Jodi M. was unhappy.  You can usually tell a fair review verses an emotional rant.

Talk to other people in your industry and see what Internet marketing tools they might recommend. You might be surprised at the number of helpful network marketing tips you get … for free. Ultimately you must decide if this expert fits with your needs. Is there a match?

How difficult is it to “hold back” , telling everything you know about your new home-based business when you are excited? Every time I get off the phone with a prospect, I am afraid I’ve given more information than was necessary and I know better.

So why are network marketers likely to be more receptive to your Internet marketing business? Because they have already bought before. It’s that simple. It’s the old principle of finding a market in a niche and selling to them over and over.

But with network marketing, if you can show you have the solution and the ability to teach the how of the business, then you increase significantly the chances that a prospect will make up their mind to join you in business.

However, there is a lot of work to do, but once you have a solid marketing system in place with a powerful pre-sell phase attached to it, you’ll be amazed at how quickly your business will grow.

Network marketers are a hardy lot. They generally believe in the concept; that’s why they may have had more than one crack at it. That’s why they are hands down your best target market.

These people know that Internet marketing can work given the right company and business model.  It may take them more than one try to find what’s right for them, but doesn’t it sometimes take more than one job or career choice to find a path that works for an individual?

A new approach has seen it’s way in to the Internet marketing field to provide an answer to all the pitfalls that make it so hard to succeed in network marketing.

It is the use of a coop to build your network marketing business. To me this approach makes the most sense.  No one person can do it alone.

Take a look around you. Even the simplest things that we all take for granted have had to travel thousands of miles to get to your local store where you could then buy them. Many people had a part in bringing those products to you.

Big business cannot function without teams of people, so why try to create a successful home-based business on your own?

The key to success is in leveraging. There are always going to be people better than you at something, just as you have strong points that others lack. The key to creating a successful business lies in utilizing the strengths of everyone in your organization.  The benefits of working with a community to build your home- based business are many:

Imagine having the people to turn to when you get stuck or have a question.

Can you imagine how much time would be freed up if you never had to cold call?

brenda1     Most network marketers do not understand the concept of ”preselling” their prospects.  Most people have not learned that this is a marketing skill. As an example, the prospect gets a call from a network marketer after responding to some form of marketing and all they want as a prospect is to understand the process of how this opportunity is going to get them to their goals.

But alas, they hear nothing of this and  ten minutes into the call they simply want to get off and look at something else. Why? Because all the network marketer has done is told them about about their company, how great the product is, about themselves, and if they don’t jump on this now they’ll miss a great opportunity.

Analyzing Preselling

So what is meant by preselling?  Ann Sieg described it like this:

“The frame in which someone views a message has more of an impact on their decision than the message itself.”

Ann Sieg is saying it doesn’t matter how good or how strong the sales pitch is, it’s what takes place leading up to it which determines whether the prospect makes the decision to join them in their business.

Can you see how powerful this can be? Instead of slamming the prospect with how great you are, you’ve got to show them that you are someone that they can place some faith in to get them what they want and where they want to be.

They are not going to be impressed by hitting them with a sales pitch on the very first contact. When you do that, the conversation becomes about.

When a prospect comes into your prospect funnel the pre-selling should start immediately. This is not the time to talk about your company or products. It’s not the time to talk about yourself.

It’s the time when you start to educate and train them. You need to be informing them and more importantly, you need to be giving them as much value as you possibly can.

You see, you are under the microscope as a mentor. It’s you they’ll eventually join not the company.  company is secondary.

If they see you as someone made of the right stuff, that is, someone who can propel them forward in their quest for greater financial stability then you won’t even need to produce a sales pitch. That’s how powerful marketing preselling done right can be.

One of the powerful aspects of marketing is being able to put your offer in front of a buyer who wants your product line or business. It makes sense doesn’t it, but many people sabotage their own Internet marketing success by doing the exact opposite.
It’s been an Achilles heel of network marketing as eager MLMers seek out everyone they know and hit them up with a business opportunity offer. When their well has run dry, they spread their net to occasional acquaintances.
The resultant effect is a high percentage of rejections, most times, too many for most to handle. The high rejection is one of the main reasons there has been an early mass exodus in the industry from people starting in MLM’s.
Look at the first paragraph again and let it sink in. If someone is not looking for something and you come along and try to convince them otherwise, you’ll soon be labeled a serial pest. Why do it? On the other hand, if you seek out those who will welcome your message, then it becomes a completely new ball game.

Statistics suggest that more than 90% of Internet marketers exit their business within the first three months. So the message is clear, to have any chance of Internet marketing success you need to attract prospects to you.
The best way to do this is by tapping into a need and desire which is already there. The most fertile prospecting ground to achieve this is the internet. Love it or hate it, the fact remains that the Internet is literally swarming with the right type of prospects - information seekers. By putting your offer in front of them, you’re giving yourself a great chance of attracting people into your funnel who want to hear your message.
Attraction Marketing Is Key
Can you see how powerful this is? People go on the Internet looking for information. When someone comes across your offer and responds then you’ve triggered the attraction marketing process. You can be assured they will want to know more about what you’re offering.
When you interrupt someone down at the local bakery or at your child’s soccer game, then the response you’re likely to get is going to be resistance. Eventhough this person is a friend, if they are not wanting what you’re selling, then you’ll come across as just another desperate marketer peddling your wares. It’s the wrong recipe for Internet marketing success.

Networking and Network Marketing is not exclusive to MLM’s. Whether you’re a brick and mortar company or exclusively an Internet marketer, network marketing will be necessary to grow your business.
Bankers, Insurance Agents, Professors, all network in their chosen field. Anyone in sales or owning their own business will network, not to mention those who are looking for a job. You must network to a certain extent if you are on this planet.
Helpful Networking Tips:
1) Be genuine - No one wants to help someone who makes them feel used
2) Volunteer In Organizations Of Interest - Boys and Girls Clubs, Hospital, Cancer Drives, Blood Drives, etc
3) Join Clubs of Interest
4) Be a resource for others
5) Understand what your goals are in networking
6) Be able to clearly communicate what you are looking for
7) Get together with those who may benefit from what you do and keep in mind they may have something of benefit to you as well
Just care about others (Did you notice the bold??…. it’s important!!). People will see through you if you are only there for yourself and have no consideration for others. Networking and Network Marketing is a give and take way of getting your name “positively” out in the community in which you wish to be associated.

There are many network marketing training tips for people building a business. When you’re looking for a network marketing home, why not look at it as if you were the consumer. Most consumers do not have unlimited funds, so we have to either:
A) Find a marketing niche who needs what you have to offer and is willing to pay the price for a product like you have. Products must fulfill a need for the consumer and be a value.
OR
B) Market products that you know people will use daily that sell at a reasonable price so that you are not asking them to spend money on things they do not need.
Which senerio fits your company’s marketing strategy? Which way do you see yourself being successful?
Network Marketing Training Tips For You To Build A Successful Business:
1) Has a product line you know you would use on a daily basis and love… one you don’t mind sharing and will be sure others will benefit from
2) A product line that isn’t just like what everyone else has to offer
3) Is priced comparably to stores that carry a very comparable product line or offers something special
For example: Specialty pet store, Whole food & nutrition store, Stores that have toxic free products
4) A network marketing company that gives something of value, maybe even something back to their customers
5) A network marketing company that pays their customers (everyone is a customer in a network marketing company) well and appreciates them.
6) A network marketing team that has the ability AND willingness to help their new team members succeed, NOT just themselves.

Sometimes when I introduce people to my network marketing business as a customer, they say “I don’t want to pay shipping“. Shipping is charged every time they buy a product at the mall, Target, the grocery store? It is just built into the price and doesn’t seem to be as bad to customers.
I understand how they feel to an extent because I would rather not purchase clothing or shoes that are fitted because there is a good chance I would have to send it back unless it is something very unusual. Clothing manufacturers do not create their products on a standard scale.
What A Customer Wants:
I found some curtains at the “Pottery Barn” in the mall. They cost $24 per panel. I knew I would like them and I made sure of the size and then checked with “Pottery Barn” on line. I found the exact same thing for $14.95. After shipping and handling was added (the only variable to my order), I saved over $20 for the same thing.
What does every consumer, network marketing or otherwise want? Best Value for their dollar !!!! Find a network marketing business that saves you, the customer, money even with the shipping. It may not be as hard as you think with gas prices at close to $4.00 per gallon. Even if you live in a town, you may have a 30 minute round trip to get to what you need, plus the value of your time!
What if you live in a rural area and must drive 10 or 15 miles to the nearest grocery store (which are higher than mass merchandisers)…… to shop in a Target or Walmart, Cosco or Sams, you may have to drive 60, 90, 120 miles round trip! How much did you spend in gasoline and time?
I know I like to save money and I meet myself coming and going, so if it saves both money and time, I’m interested !!!
