Attracting the right leads for our network marketing business requires some unique marketing techniques, but we must find our niche just as any other product on the market.
Our daughter plays traveling softball and our son traveling baseball, so these two sports are taken a little more seriously at our house. When we need new bats, gloves, or cleats, we are willing to spend quite a bit of money on their equipment.
When my son and I decided we wanted to play tennis for fun, we went to Walmart and looked for a tennis racket that was good, but reasonably priced. I am sure if we were thinking of playing tennis competitively, I would have gone to a sporting goods store known for carrying the better tennis raquets.
As network marketers, we have to reach out to people, identify their problems and needs and then help them determine if we have a home-based business opportunity or line of products that will meet those needs. We must be able to meet a need with our network marketing opportunity in order to build our client base.
Each business opportunity will meet the needs of a unique market. While I am willing to spend more money on a new bat or glove for one of my kids because they are more serious about these sports, I am not willing to spend much money on a tennis racquet we will use occassionally and only for fun. What is important to your prospect? Ask them questions to find out!
We will come across people willing to spend, for example: $80 on a box of vitamins, while others refuse to spend more than $10 on their box of vitamins. It’s just a matter of what is important to each person.
