1. It gets you away from approaching your friends and relatives. If you have been in more than one MLM business over the years you may have already approached them and used up your credibility when you were unsuccessful.

2. Lead generation is a duplicable way to build your business that you can pass on to your team. Any successful network marketing business will tell you that one of the main components of success is duplication. Anyone can buy leads and work them over the phone or through the Internet with the use of an autoresponder.
2. How old are the leads? Would you rather contact a prospect that has expressed an interest in the past 48 hours or in the past 48 days? Being able to strike while the iron is hot, so to speak, is a great benefit of fresh MLM leads.

So what do you fill it with? In two words, educational content. In other words, you should be using your site to showcase your training ability and earning your visitors trust. Why? Because you want them coming back again and again.
To take it a step further, a successful Internet marketing website not only provides visitors with valuable, usable content, but also gives them the option of subscribing to one’s list.

The term interruption marketing describes the process of approaching prospects in a hit and miss fashion to get them to look at one’s offer. It’s particularly popular in the MLM marketing business and is one of the major reasons the industry has received a bad rap over the years.
In a nutshell, attraction marketing means the prospect seeks out the person making the offer which in turn leads to less rejection and a much happier network marketer.
As an example, old school network marketing methods teach approaching friends, family and anyone who is fair game to take a look at a business opportunity or to look at products. This is all well and good, but the problem with this technique is that most people who are approached are not in the market for an offer.

While many people would love to own their own home-based business, most DO NOT feel comfortable with door-to-door sales techniques. They do not want to solicit sales from family and friends.
Not all MLM’s are “bad”, but they are a “duck” and not for everyone. Personally I have been in a couple of “duck MLM’s” and they just aren’t for me. A home-based business is for me, but I do not work well in the MLM business model. Maybe I need a “goose” instead or a beautiful “swan”.
